Southampton Village Photo is owned and operated by Chris Geminski. A Southampton native and graduate of Elmira College, Chris has over 18 years experience in the photo & graphics industries. His professional experience includes photography, graphic design and large format printing. Before starting his own business, Chris managed Cameron One Hour Photo and was the Production Manager at Poster.com. Chris is the primary professional photographer at Southampton Village Photo, several other outstanding local photographers are also part of our staff including Vinnie Ciano, our seasonal lab manager. Vinnie has over 24 years experience as a photographer in the United States Air Force based at Westhampton Beach, NY. While stationed at Westhampton Beach, Vinnie was the head of the media department which included photography, graphic design and videography. Some of Vinnie's more interesting experiences include photographing President's Bush and Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell (later the US Secretary of State), NY Governor Pataki, actor Robert DeNiro, many rescues at sea and aerial photography during the Sunrise fires in 1995, TWA flight 800 and the John F. Kennedy Jr. recovery operation. Some of Vinnie's photos even go into space, as he photographed the approach view's for NASA's alternate space shuttle landing site at Westhampton Beach.
Southampton Village Photo has been in business since 2002 and is now 100% digital! We specialize in all types of professional photography... weddings, senior portraits, school portraits, sports, events, fundraisers, parties, etc! We also offer graphic design, image scanning, photo restoration, and archival "giclee" printing to virtually any size. Our retail store stocks thousands of frames, hundreds of photo albums as well as digital cameras and popular accessories.
